We Prepare You to Lead
State Certification Programs
VACHWA offers two state-recognized certification programs: Certified Community Health Worker (English/Spanish) and Community Doula (English/Spanish). These programs are designed to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and real-world experience needed to serve communities with confidence and cultural humility.
Our approach goes beyond the classroom. While participants complete the required 70+ hours of didactic training, our programs also integrate hands-on, practical experiences that prepare you for real-life community engagement.
